After the full implementation of online verification, issuing departments will no longer issue paper quota certificates, replacing them entirely with electronic quota certificates. Customs will automatically compare and verify electronic quota data with declaration data during clearance, achieving a fully online and paperless process for quota application, issuance, clearance, and verification, effectively improving clearance efficiency and reducing business operating costs.

It is reported that to ensure the smooth implementation of comprehensive online verification, the three departments have conducted pilot programs since September 2022, with over a hundred enterprises participating and benefiting from the reform.

According to reports, after the full implementation of import tariff quota online verification, the three departments will further optimize the online verification system based on feedback from enterprises, continuously enhancing the sense of gain for businesses and unleashing the benefits of reform.
